From the collaboration between Birkenstock 1774 and Australian studio Song For The Mute, this London The Artist sandal stands out through its unique surface treatment. The suede leather is worked using a hand-distressing and painting technique that gives each pair a distinctive character. The splattered Taupe Splash pattern evokes the world of the artist's studio, one of four archetypes imagined for this capsule collection. Assembly is entrusted to a family workshop in Caldas de Vizela, Portugal, carrying forward an artisanal expertise rooted in the European shoemaking tradition.
