Porter's Force series draws its inspiration from the accidental color variations found on certain vintage military equipment. The outer fabric is an industrial nylon oxford, originally designed as a base cloth for rubber boats, woven from particularly strong 210-denier threads. This material, which was not originally intended to be dyed, gives the bag a dense texture and remarkable toughness. The quilted orange ripstop nylon lining recalls flight jacket codes, while the multiple nylon tapes in varying shades reinforce the military character of the piece.
