Crafted from Pertex Shield Air, a three-layer nano-ripstop membrane developed in Japan, this jacket combines weather protection with breathability. The electrospun membrane forms an open network of microscopic pores that block water while allowing air and vapor to circulate. Pertex recovers production waste to recycle into nylon pellets, reducing the use of virgin fossil fuel-derived raw materials.
