First published in 2019, this book is the first monograph dedicated to the work of designer Michael Anastassiades. The book takes as its starting point an exhibition held that same year, where objects unearthed in nature or sourced from his personal collections formed a constellation of elements and a syntax of 'things that go together'. Through photographs of the exhibition and a collection of essays, the book explores Anastassiades's formative years in Cyprus, the influence of its natural environment and local artistic figures, as well as his interest in the psychological connection between humans and the objects around them.
