Happy Victims brings together 87 photographic portraits taken by Kyoichi Tsuzuki between 1999 and 2006, originally published in the Japanese fashion magazine Ryuko Tsushin. This revised edition documents the homes and clothing collections of fashion enthusiasts in Japan: a Buddhist monk devoted to Comme des Garçons, an Alexander McQueen collector in his Tokyo apartment, fans of Margiela, Vivienne Westwood and Yohji Yamamoto. Each spread features one subject alongside a short text about their daily life, dressing rituals and deep attachment to clothing. This reissue includes a new foreword by Kyoichi Tsuzuki and an introduction by Isabella Burley, founder of Climax Books.
