N°18 Regain Magazine 

This autumn, Regain awakens the senses. There are the shimmering colours of the bouquets of flowers in the English shows, the burning flames of the bread oven, the fresh grapes of the last uvale station in Marseille.

There are also the smells of food from the market in Saint-Briac, a new inn in the heart of the Loiret or a local family-run restaurant in the Sarthe. We drink wine and then read books (or vice versa, or both together) with Louis and Charlotte Pérot from L'Ostal Levant and we chat with the grape-pickers at the Domaine Boesch in Alsace. We listen to the sound of the rivers as much as to the rustling of bat wings in the darkness of a cave in the Ariège.

And then we go for a walk, to discover a magical mountain or along the roads of Corsica, avoiding wild cows or discovering rock inscriptions. We cultivate the great hogweed, we build our own bread oven, we marvel at the chicken eggs. Summer is dying, long live autumn!
