Founded by David Frossard, a philosophy graduate turned perfumer with stints at Byredo and Juliette Has a Gun, Obvious was born out of a desire to break away from the ostentation of niche perfumery. Drawing on Descartes' notion of self-evidence, this Parisian house crafts French-made eau de parfum with a clear, vivid approach. Organic alcohol, recycled glass bottles, reclaimed cork caps: every detail reflects a concrete commitment, with no superfluous storytelling.
