VEJA unveils Arpoador, an outdoor-inspired sandal, between sea and mountains. Its name evokes one of Rio de Janeiro's iconic viewpoints: the Pedra de Arpoador.

• Straps: Recycled polyester (100%)
• Lining: Leather
• Insole: Bio-sourced E.V.A. (57%, including 41% sugarcane), recycled E.V.A. (11%) and others (32%)
• Outsole: Amazonian rubber (50%), mineral silica (26%), synthetic rubber (5%) and others (19%)

Suede is the reverse side of leather, sanded to obtain a soft and supple finish. It comes from farms located in Rio Grande do Sul and is tanned in Brazil without dangerous or prohibited chemicals. VEJA uses dyes that comply with regulations while adopting responsible water usage during the tanning process. This suede is then coated with water-repellent oils without PFCs (chemical compound) to protect the shoes against light rain.
