The Yoshidenim Wild Duck Jeans are woven from a blend of cotton and reed (Yoshi) harvested from Lake Kojima. These reeds, previously cut and discarded as a source of environmental pollution, were selected by Big John to create a fibre that is both delicate and strong. The green selvedge edge symbolises denim born in harmony with nature. This model embodies the sustainability philosophy of Big John, Japan's first denim maker since 1940.

Mathis is 185cm tall and wears size 30.
