This hooded jacket is made from a Giza cotton whose weave dates back to a design developed by the British Air Force in the late 19th century, later recommissioned in Japan by the Japanese Coast Guard. Superfine thread is woven at maximum density, then exposed to water: the yarns swell and become impermeable and water resistant without any coating. The cloth remains lightweight and breathable, with a dry, matte handle. It is woven in Saitama.
