Founded in 2015 by Maurizio Quaglia and Luca Benini, ROA takes its name from the Forcella della Roa mountain pass in the Italian Dolomites. Based in Milan with a development studio in Civitanova Marche, a shoemaking hub active for over ten generations, the brand designs footwear and apparel that erase the boundary between outdoor and urban. ROA draws on Italian artisanal expertise and a long-standing partnership with Vibram to produce functional, durable and distinctive pieces whose assertive aesthetic defies any attempt at classification.
