Baïnes was born in 2022 from a simple conviction: sunscreen shouldn't dictate the rhythm of a day at the beach. Pauline, a mother from south-west France, created the brand after her daughter suffered a severe sunburn and set out to design UV-protective swimwear that actually works, wet or dry. Designed in France and made in Portugal, the pieces offer UPF 50+ protection blocking 98% of UV rays, all made from ECONYL®, a nylon fully recycled from fishing nets recovered at sea. Colourful, lightweight and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, they carry the salty, joyful spirit of the 90s that inspired their creator.
