Words from the author:
‘This photo book is the result of many questions I asked myself during my 8 months on the American continent. Our relationship with images influences our experiences and our perceptions, particularly of what surrounds us, to the point where we start to consider the beauty of an image for what it represents and not just for what it really is.’
‘Through this project, ‘(the)Americas’, I want to offer you an immersion in this great continent. From the immense expanses of this territory to the people who inhabit it and their environment, I have sought to represent it in its diversity beyond the various identifiable borders. The photos blend together and respond to each other without you having any information about their location at first. I want to give free rein to the imagination, to questioning, or perhaps your own experience will help to construct the story of these landscapes, of these Americans.’
