Growing a plant from a simple seed to a fruit-bearing plant is a rewarding experience.
It is easy to grow seeds at home with this growing kit created by Sowvital. Everything you need to start growing is included inside.

First, place your coco pellets in a small dish that you can fill with water. The coco fiber will absorb the water and expand rapidly, filling the netting around it.

In a few minutes, the pellet should have more than tripled in height. If you still see dry soil, add more water.
Sow 2-3 seeds in each pellet. Once they have germinated, you can remove the smaller plants and keep the strongest one.

The pellets are small and therefore require frequent watering. If they are in a warm and sunny spot, you should consider adding a bit of water each morning. It is essential not to let the pellets dry out.

A light press will tell you if they are moist or not, and if not, it’s time to add more water.

After 1-2 months, the plants should become strong. When small white roots start to appear through the netting, it’s time to plant it. No need to remove the netting: simply plant the pellet and the plant directly into their new home.
