The ChromeFree bovine leather is smooth and lightweight. Sourced from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process that is free from chrome, heavy metals, and hazardous acids. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is reduced. Water consumption is decreased by around 40% and salt by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable. ChromeFree leather is used for the entire collection of children's leather shoes.
