YMC was founded in london in 1995 by Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins. The brand is recognised as one of the great, independent fashion brands that has come out of the UK.​

Inspired by workwear and military clothing, the brand developed a unisex nonconformist line, now part of their DNA.
