ChromeFree leather, bovine leather tanned without chrome, is soft and lightweight. Sourced from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process where no chrome, heavy metals, or dangerous acids are used. The simplification of the tanning stages reduces chemical, energy, and water usage by about 40% and salt usage by 80%. After tanning, the water is recyclable.
