Nineteen-sixtynine was founded by the Swedish artist and product developer Johan Bergelin. Each scent is inspired by a different era, culture or setting from Africa, Europe, the States and Asia. Art, music, trends and cultures are the source of inspiration for the content, the name and the packaging.

CAPRI : Inspired by the settings of Villa Malaparte and the iconic film Le Mépris (1963) on the Isle of Capri.
Notes include Sweet and Bitter Orange, Ylang Ylang Extra Oil and White Musk.

CHINESE TOBOCCO : Inspired by legendary movies like Apocalypse Now and Indochine.
Notes include Tobacco, Coriander and Oud.

KASBAH : Influenced by the 60s and 70s party scene in Marrakesh hosted by YSL, Mick Jagger and Veruschka.
Notes include White Honey, Amber and Sandalwood.

L´AIR BARBES : A tribute to Paris, capital de la mode.
Notes include Fresh Lemon, Concrete and Ink.

PURPLE HAZE : A tribute to creativity, freedom and indulgence.
Notes include Cannabis Accord, Violet Leaf and Patchouli.
