ChromeFree bovine leather is supple and lightweight. Sourced from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process that uses no chromium, heavy metals or dangerous acids. The simplification of the tanning process reduces the use of chemicals and energy, cuts water consumption by around 40% and reduces the amount of salt by 80%. After tanning, the water can be recycled.
