BATTENWEAR was founded in New York City, in 2011, by Shinya Hasegawa. His passion for vintage sportswear led him to create his own brand of high quality garments carefully made by local craftmen.

He draws inspiration from the surf and outdoor worlds of the 1960s to 1980s to create sturdy but light pieces.
Hasegawa ensures the traceability of every step of Battenwear's production, exclusively made in US.
